why is my outlook calendar not syncing with teams

For example, I can create a Teams meeting in teams, but this one won't appear in my Outlook calendar, and I can create a Teams meeting with the Teams-add-in from Outlook, but it won't appear in my Teams calendar. My Teams account is registered with the same email address (since it is one email address for the whole of Office), however I cannot get the Outlook calendar to sync with the teams calendar. I can now manage my webmail email address through the Outlook app (send, receive emails). I have managed, after quite the ordeal, to add my webmail email address to the Outlook desktop app for windows 10 (as far as I understand, this linking cannot be done for the web-based outlook anymore).

My new institution has a webmail based email service, and they also have institutional access to Office 365 including Teams.

Hope some of you can help:ġ.- Is it possible to set 'busy' times in teams calendar? I can't seem to find anything but the 'schedule meeting' feature.Ģ.- Is it possible to share my teams calendar with someone else so that they can see when I am busy? (I used to be able to do this very easily with my gmail powered institutional account).ģ.- If the above is not possible, can you sync your outlook calendar with teams so that what you add in your outlook calendar appears in the teams calendar and viceversa?ĮDIT: I realized that my original post didn't have enough information so here it goes.
